Just finished my second day of the winter league 5 stand shooting. The coat is great. Fist week I wore too many clothes under the coat and it was too hot, ended up taking most of what I had on off down to the long sleeve tee shirt. Got smart this week and only wore the long sleeved tee shirt and it was perfect. I would have given it 5 stars except for the zipper. When you lift up on the bottom zipper it some times get caught on the material and is hard to move, I can forgive that but when you go to pull the zipper all the way down it doesn't seem to bring both sides of the zipper back together close enough to allow the coat to be fully un-zipped. Fix that and I would have given it a 6 1/2 stars.

Just received coat and wore it for the first time yesterday shooting sporting clays. Extremely warm in 40 degree weather. Very comfortable and pockets were plenty spacious for ammo. Loved the gusseted shoulders for mounting gun. Highly recommend.
I live in the great white north. In Ontario Canada. We do a lot of shooting in sub zero weather! This coat fits very well also warm and allows me to layer well underneath! Wish I had found it years earlier!
Tried/ bought many brands costing more, but this one was the winner. 2XL fits me perfectly, as I am 240lb and 6'4 with 36 in arm length. Does not bulk up when shooting. Not heavy, but warm with a light sweatshirt or thermal shirt. Blocks wind. Excellent quality of sewn seams. The company is a winner with their customer service and assistance. Just bought the 6 shell box leather carrier and am satisfied with that purchase as well. Time to go shoot.
Received my jacket under a week from ordering. Sizing was true to size. One thing I may have added would be a detachable pouch on rear of jacket for spent hulls. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet but am looking at possibly shooting this weekend.

Have used my new Winter Shooting Jacket quite a bit and cannot say enough good things about the quality and usefulness. I ordered the 1st one same size as my Wild Hare Rain Jacket but found it seemed to run just a bit larger. Wild Hare was great about getting me a smaller size right out and it's perfect. I'm able to wear it over just a heavy shirt or slip a sweater on if it’s really cold out and it still fits nicely without a lot of excess bulk but with plenty of movement thanks to the gussets. It’s the first shooting coat that I really like shooting in.''
