Over sized bulky & a cheap ziper.
Poor design for shooting very bulky

It’s definitely the jacket.
I recently bought the cold weather coat after seeing a friend wearing it. I live in Michigan and we have a lot of wintertime shoots up here so I wanted something that was gonna keep me warm. I am 6’3” 300lbs and carry my weight up top. I ordered a 3XL. Upon arrival my first impressions were “this this is huge” !! I tired it on and and it was fine. A little room to bundle up on those 30 degree or less days. The same weekend I wore this jacket to its debut shoot. Plenty of pockets for shells, gloves, eyes, ears, I wore a hoodie underneath and didn’t really “layer” much. As bulky as the jacket appears I can mount and swing my 32” summit without any hiccups. A couple stations into our shoot I started to warm up a bit. Not uncomfortable but I was warm. That day I shot my personal best 96/100. Not sure if it was me or the jacket.... I highly recommended this jacket for any serious shooter who enjoys shooting during the colder winter months. The stitching and overall quality are top notch

Great Shooting Coat
A lot better than I anticipated. Very warm. thin and light weight.

So far so good!
Tried a few coats and then looked on online again and found this coat. Based on the positive reviews I bought the coat and tried it out this weekend. Temperature was around 35 and the coat performed very well. Did not feel bulky but it had a lot of room. Had a light layer underneath and felt toasty warm. Really liked and it and look forward to testing it even further when the “winter league” starts and temperatures plummet even further. Have a feeling I will have finally found “the” jacket for winter clays.

Warmth
I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth of this product. This coat does everything required.

Warm and comfy
I took delivery of the coat on a Friday, just in time for a weekend of very cold weather. I had my doubts about it’s warmth, but after an hour on the 16 Yard line, I was so warm that I had t take my “cold gear” base layer off. The coat has plenty of room for shells and other needs, but even loaded with 50 12 ga. Shells in the pockets, it was still comfy and my swing was unrestricted. Looking forward to cold weather shooting.

Winter Coat
I have been out of the shotgun games for some time know due business activities and eye problems due to cataracts. After returning to the skeet field I noticed that I could not find a Bob Allen cold weather shooting coat. After scouring the internet I came across the Wild Hare line of shooting products. I purchased the “Wild Hare Cold Weather Coat -- Black Leather” and I could not be happier. The coat has all of the necessary items that a shooting coat should have. Large expandable pockets, leather shooters pad (with pocket for recoil pad), shoulder gussets for a unrestricted free swing, warm but not bulky and last but not least this coat looks really good. I was very disappointed that I could not find a Bob Allen Winter Coat but after purchasing the Wild Hare Cold Weather Coat I am a happy winter shooter again. Respectfully Louis Cataldo Michigan

Keeps me warm when it counts
A great fitting shooting jacket that lets me move freely and stay warm. I am able to wear a single base layer with it on most cooler shooting days. Snaps, zippers and pockets all function well.

Very warm
Just finished my second day of the winter league 5 stand shooting. The coat is great. Fist week I wore too many clothes under the coat and it was too hot, ended up taking most of what I had on off down to the long sleeve tee shirt. Got smart this week and only wore the long sleeved tee shirt and it was perfect. I would have given it 5 stars except for the zipper. When you lift up on the bottom zipper it some times get caught on the material and is hard to move, I can forgive that but when you go to pull the zipper all the way down it doesn't seem to bring both sides of the zipper back together close enough to allow the coat to be fully un-zipped. Fix that and I would have given it a 6 1/2 stars.
