The critical difference between eVent technology and traditional waterproof/breathable fabrics is the millions of microscopic pores built in to eVent's proprietary membrane that work instantly to vent water vapor (sweat) that builds up inside your apparel and footwear when you perform.
This is called Direct Venting™ technology, and unlike other technologies, it doesn't need to get wet to work. It’s a 'dry system' that allows eVent fabrics to be fully waterproof and fully breathable – keeping you dry and comfortable in the widest range of temperatures and conditions.
Direct Venting™ technology is engineered to keep you in the ‘dry zone’ – a steady state of temperature and humidity that reduces the wild swings our bodies go through to stay in balance during physical exertion.
The result is that you’ll spend more time performing at your best and less time fussing with your gear. And when conditions are bad, that can make all the difference.

Awesome rain jacket
Wow, just received the new rain jacket in black and the quality of the materials is just phenomenal. I thought it was a bit expensive but now I see it’s actually a great deal. Now I may have to order the cold weather jacket to round out my winter shooting jackets. I am 5 ft 9 inches and weight 250 with a 42 inch waist and found the XXL to fit perfectly. Just enough room to fit a light sweater if needed but it’s not loose as to impede my gun mount. Both jackets although made for clay type shooting will work very well for upland type hunting as a bonus. I now own many items from Wild Hare and every item has exceeded my expectations. Well done Wild Hare

Simply a great jacket
Having owned the cold weather version of the jacket for a couple of years and being very happy with it, my expectations for this jacket were quite high. This jacket not only met those expectations, but exceeded them. The jacket runs true-to-size and is plenty roomy for ease of movement. The only tweak that I would make would be to move the Shock Eater recoil pad pocket in toward the collar. Perhaps it is just my anatomy, but the recoil pad is further out on the shoulder than I like. Great product and worth the investment.

Wild Hare Hydro-Elite Waterproof Shooting Jacket - Black (WH-471L-BK)
The jacket arrived yesterday, which was a really fast delivery to New Zealand. The fit is excellent and the sizing guidelines spot on, I ordered an XL as I am 6'2'. Whilst I have not been out shooting with the jacket, I intend to this weekend, I am sure it is going to perform well in the Wellington weather. The construction, weight, and range of movement are all as good as I could have wished for. This is a quality shooting jacket at a very reasonable price.''

Great Shooting coat.
I have long arms, so liked the length of the pockets on the XL, but the shoulders and shoulder shooting patch were too loose. I went for the Large and the shoulders and shooting patch are a much better fit. Pockets are a little higher than my other shooting vests, but will get the hang of it I am sure. '

Great Jacket
I have been looking for a jacket for shooting sporting clays in marginal weather. This is it! The jacket is sharp looking, light weight, water tight and has sufficient pockets for storage and lots of comfort for movement.

Super-Waterproof Shooting Jacket
Recently used this jacket at Del Norte Rod and Gun Club in Northern-most California. Raining in buckets would be an understatement. All in all it was a great shoot and I came through it completely dry.

Rain coat that works like it says it does
Coat works as advertised. Really like the cuffs that are up inside the sleeve to keep water out.

Great jacket
Great jacket, Jacket is everything I wanted, unfortunately I ordered the wrong size and had to ship it back and they won’t have my size until spring. The company is great I had zero problems shipping it back, two people called me to make sure that I was satisfied. Great company to do business with.

Every thing I wanted
I was able to try out my new coat on New Year’s Day in the rain. Shot all day very comfortable lots of range of movement. Only improvement would be a yip in liner for those really cold days.
