Our Cold Weather Coat is the best winter shooting jacket on the market with its non-bulky feel and free unrestricted swing.
Several of my teammates wore these coats last Winter and they seemed impervious to the MN Winter cold. Bought mine based on their recommendations and have no regrets. The gussets on the back allow plenty of room for unrestricted gun mounting and target tracking'' gun mount and length of pull are little changed. I added the Shock Eater recoil pad, it's very effective and only 1/4' thick. The built in pocket in the jacket securely holds it, once I figured out how to insert it. (Fold the top down and the bottom up to meet in the middle before slipping it into the pocket, where it can be unfolded.) 5 Stars!
This is a warm and comfortable coat. Freedom of movement is good especially when mounting a firearm to your shoulder. My only negative comment is a hood should be added.
The only reason this is rated 4 stars instead of 5 is my husband has not had a chance to wear it in cold weather. The coat looks great, appears well made, and fits perfectly. Received as a gift, my husband was very pleased and is looking forward to wearing at.
I finally decided to buy this jacket when it went on sale. I am not disappointed. Great fit and comfortable. Look forward to using this winter.

I have been a Trap shooter since the mid 1970. I have never encountered a coat with the ability to keep cold wind at bay like this coat does. Its very warm, has spacious pockets for shells flexes good at shoulders and looks sharp when worn. If you shoot in cold weather, get one. You will love it
Had the coat for 2 months. The coat is warm and comfortable for winter shooting. Only thing its missing is a spare shell holder on the jacket.
Great product really glad I ordered it fits great have you used it twice now in the cold weather last week it was 9 degrees when I shot and I never got cold very nice high quality
The Wild Hare Cold Weather Coat is both warm and functional. This coat exhibits top quality design, materials, and labor. The flexible body and sleeves, along with the 2-way zipper front, give the shooter all the protection and warmth needed to swing freely when engaging Skeet, Sporting, and Trap clay targets. The low-profile collar allows for excellent gun mounting, and the knit cuffs keep the sleeves closed for warmth and out of the way from the gun. All things considered, this is an excellent coat for the price!
Lightweight, but quite warm without unnecessary bulk. Good size shell pockets that have a snap to minimize their size when not accommodating a box of shells. Nice materials and finish, non-binding design. Seems like a quality product!
A pleasure to have full freedom of movement on the colder days while shooting clays. The stitching is nice and has quality materials. Great feel and style too. Happy with my purchase.
A thorough web search for a "south paw" winter clays shooting jacket led me to select the Wild Hare Cold Weather Coat and I am very pleased with this choice! My on-line order was shipped within an hour of my placing it. This coat is well designed with excellent fabric, a front 2-way zipper, comfortable knit collar and wrist cuffs, non-bunching shoulder pad, trim chest fit yet room for layering, ample shell and hand warming pockets, hanging clips for an empty shell bag, lined sleeves and a thin but VERY warm quilted body lining. On the sporting clays course it permits unhindered gun mount and swing and does not feel "bulky". And, yes, it is very warm -- I have learned that with temperatures about 30 F I do not need the thick underlayers I previously wore beneath an unlined fleece shooting jacket, and suspect that I can easily remain comfortable on much colder days. I highly recommend this coat for cold weather shooting enjoyment.
