Premium Gunboy - 54 inch

This is my second Wild Hare gun slip. First one purchased on 2001 and still in use. Needed another for a longer barreled high-rib gun. Ordered and received in 3-days. However a portion of a seam was not sewn. Contacted customer service and they sent a replacement that day. Great customer service!

Looks well made and functional. Wish it had more interior protection like a fleece liner. I won't put my shotgun in it without it also being in a gun sock as I think it could abrade the finish on stock or forearm with it's interior quilting. I have yet to actually use it and continue to carry in my hardcase as I really don't have confidence in the gun slip and it's lack of a soft non-abrasive interior lining. I got it because it did not have a zipper to scratch the wood but would not of bought it if I knew it lacked a fleece or similar lining.

I purchased a premium gunboy Gunslip 54 inch gun case from Gamaliel's. I was very disappointed when I received the gun case. The outside cover of the gun case seemed to be of high quality and looked like it would wear well. However, there was very little padding in the case. It certainly did not measure up to Wild Hare's normal quality standards. When you put an expensive shotgun in a case, you expect it to be well protected. Well, not this gun case....it afforded very little protection for your gun. I sent it back to Gamaliel's and purchase a top quality Boyt case that offered a lot of padding. I believe if the you would improve the padding in the Gunslip case then you would have a quality case that I would recommend buying. '

High quality and works perfectly! I am very happy with the purchase and would purchase this item again if I needed to. The material and color is unique and matches the other Wild Hare items that I have: sporting clay range bag and shell pouch. No issues at all.
